Our History

The club began in 1966 when Florence Traver decided that the Lake George Community needed an organization to promote gardening and community service.

Founded with just a few members, the club has grown
to a current total of  55 active, 1 associate and
4 honorary members.

While many of our members live in Glens Falls, Queensbury, Lake George, and Warrensburg, several members come from as far away as Minerva
and Clifton Park.

Anyone interested in gardening is invited to join our club
