The garden club is working hard to connect
New York's youth to nature through Camperships, Scholarships, and Individual Projects.
At NYS Department of Environmental Conservation Camp Colby, a residential summer camp for youth ages 12-14,
students participate in activites that emphasize teamwork,
group dynamics and effective listening and communication skills.

Overnight trips include hiking to remote areas, setting up tents and cooking over a campfire.

Lake George Community Garden Club pays full tuition
for one student each summer.
